Now here is a unique decorating idea for stairway walls. The sole purpose of a stairway is to get you from one floor to the other. People don’t gather in staircases in homes to socialize and hang out. But still we look for ways to create interest in a stairway by hanging picture frames, using wallpaper or incorporating decorative lighting to create a nice atmosphere while the space is in use. Or as in this example, you could add a custom-molded wall for a very striking effect. The contrast of the smooth undulated white wall and the straight lines of the wooden stairs is very pleasing to the eye. This idea is highly unusual but provides a prominent contemporary look to the space. Very inspiring and very creative – you could even say it’s quite artistic.
